Wanderfox AI — AI travel planner

AI trip planner

The AI trip planner that only plans real places

Tell Wanderfox AI where you're going, when, and how you like to travel. In about a minute you have a day-by-day itinerary: every stop a real place on the map, timed by the clock, with the walk or drive between them and meals where you'll be. Then change anything by asking.

Start planning: describe your trip

How it works

  1. Tell it the trip — Destination, dates, budget and style — one sentence is enough to start.
  2. Refine in plain words — Ask for changes and the AI edits that day or that stop, not the whole plan.
  3. Share and go — Invite your travel partners, keep bookings and costs together, export a PDF.

Describe the trip. Get a plan, not a paragraph.

Most AI chats answer a travel question with a wall of text you then have to turn into a plan yourself. Wanderfox AI answers with the plan: days, stops, times and a map you can act on.

Say as much or as little as you know — dates, budget, pace, who's coming, what you love or want to skip. Then refine it the way you'd talk to a friend who knows the city: "make day 2 slower", "add dinner for the last night", "move the Vatican to day 3". The planner edits that part of the trip and leaves the rest alone.

Recommendations tailored to a traveller's style: coastal escapes, must-sees and luxury stays

Every stop is a real place

Chat assistants can recommend restaurants that closed years ago, or never existed. Wanderfox AI checks every suggestion against its own database of millions of places before it shows it to you, and drops anything it cannot match to a real venue.

Locations come from that database, never from the AI's imagination, so the pins on your map are where the places actually are.

Compare destinations before you commit

Not sure where to go yet? Ask "Bali or Sri Lanka for a beach week in March?" and get a side-by-side comparison: the weather for your month from real climate data, rough costs, and the honest trade-offs — then plan the winner in the same chat.

See every day on a map

Each day of your trip is mapped with its stops in order, so you can see at a glance whether a day zig-zags across the city. Travel times between stops are part of the plan, not an afterthought.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best AI trip planner?

The best AI trip planner is the one whose plan you can actually follow: real places, sensible timing and a map, not just suggestions. Wanderfox AI is built around that — it checks every place against a real venue, times each day, maps it, and lets you edit, share and plan with friends in one workspace.

Is Wanderfox AI free?

Yes, planning a trip is free — create an account and start chatting. There is a daily allowance of AI messages to keep it free for everyone. Ready-made trips by Wanderfox are free; some creator itineraries are paid.

How is it different from asking ChatGPT to plan a trip?

A general chatbot writes text and can invent places. Wanderfox AI returns a structured itinerary in which every stop is matched to a real venue, timed and mapped, and you can change single stops, invite friends, track bookings and split costs in the same place.

Does the AI make up places?

No. The AI suggests places by name, and Wanderfox matches each one to a real venue in its places database before showing it. Anything that cannot be matched is dropped, and locations always come from the database rather than the AI.

Can it book flights and hotels?

Wanderfox AI shows flight, stay and activity options in your trip's Bookings tab and links to the provider to book. You keep your bookings in the trip alongside the itinerary.

Where can I plan a trip to?

Anywhere. City breaks, multi-city trips by train or car, and country trips are all supported, and the places database covers millions of venues worldwide.

Do I need to download an app?

No. Wanderfox AI runs in your browser on phone, tablet and desktop. Native mobile apps are coming soon.
